App of the Day: Backgrounds

Today’s app of the day is one that I highly recommend as it’s my go to app for all background changing whims. Not surprisingly, the app itself is called Backgrounds. Developed by Stylem Media, this app basically gives you access to thousands of potential background pictures (I believe the number right now is 20,690,760 and counting).

Backgrounds is organized into different categories, so you can browse selectively. With 1.3 million users per day, you know they’re doing something right. The quirky thing, however, is that this app uses a lot of Flickr pictures, but a certain little fine print reads something along the lines of: “this product uses the Flickr API but is not endorsed or certified by Flickr.”

Fishy, but I’m not complaining. Backgrounds has the best selection of wallpaper images to date. Get yours here.
