Recently at the IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin, People of Lava introduced the Scandinavia, an Android-powered Internet TV. It will come out in 42-inch, 47-inch and 52-inch, with the launch in Sweden in October and in other European countries in the month after. Apparently this device won’t be available in the US.
This TV supports Android 1.5 firmware but apparently it could be upgraded to Android 2.2 at the least, as Flash 10.1 is said to be added in the future. Furthermore, it has an 833MHz Cortex A8 processor from Samsung. Unfortunately, the Scandinavia is not certified by Google, so the Internet features and applications will come only from their own application market.
