As an update to this previous post, it seems as though a few more specifications have come out for the mysterious, still-nameless, HTC Android Phone for Verizon. It seems more likely now that this phone will be the dual-mode Android phone that allows the device to run on Verizon + Sprint’s CDMA and T-Mobile + AT&T’s GSM network.

Since most of the Android devices that are out are on Verizon, it’s good news to hear that this rumored dual-mode phone will most likely be happening. It will really comes in handy for any CDMA mobile users who travel, since the range of the two networks differ.

Updated specifications:
-Slide-out qwerty keyboard
-EV-DO Rev. A
-802.11n Wi-Fi
-4-inch screen

[still rumored]
-Android 3.0
-1.2 GHz processor

There is also a rumor that the phone will have an early 2011 launch, so as the time gets closer - we’ll be getting more specifics on it.
