Android’s new Text No More app rewards users for not texting while driving (something we should already be doing). Although there are certainly lots of apps similar to this, Text No More is the first app that actually rewards people—for obeying the law!
When you turn this app on, you will automatically be prevented from receiving text messages, but as a return you will receive coupons from participating sponsors. With all the texting accidents lately, this is one company that has a strong goal.
“It is such a simple thing, but it really could save lives,” summarizes Text No More’s creator, Rodney Stearns. “As a father it terrifies me to think how preventable some of these deaths could have been.”
Amen to that. For more info on this app, check out their website. The basic version is free, but you can also buy their upgraded version for $2.99.
