Yelp for Android is one of those must-have on computer, must-have on phone, kind of apps. If you’ve never heard of slash used Yelp, make the jump for a summary in a nutshell. Yelp is your average app that’s great for finding stores and restaurants closest to you (or rather, your phone). You know, the little bronze coins you find laying around in your couch cushions all the time. Well, why don’t you dig one out and go get yourself this phone! Earlier, it was reported a beta version of the Android 2.2 (Froyo) upgrade was leaked out to the public, giving early adopters a chance to try out the new version for the Motorola Droid X. However, as soon as Motorola found out of this disaster, it immediately brought its lawyers along to block the early distributed version of the upgrade. More »

Hallelujah, Adobe Flash 10.1 is finally here. Say goodbye to beta versions as Flash can now be installed onto any Android device that’s running Froyo. Although you don’t need a rooted phone to be able to install the program, we hear that un-rooted phones fail to deliver the optimal experience (web browsers have allegedly slowed down, although changing your settings to “on demand” should help with that issue).
