Here is but a preview of what the Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 will be like. As you can tell from the pictures this isn’t as slim fit as the smartphones are nowadays. But don’t let that turn you off. I personally don’t care how skinny my phone is, as long as it’s a good phone. Though this one does seem a bit chunky and clunky.
Judging by the photo, that touch keyboard seems extremely crowded and awkward.
The 3-inch handset runs on Android 1.6, and an upgrade for 2.1 won’t happen until Q4.
The camera seems alright with 3.2 megapixel and 600MHz CPU, but it isn’t too good.
It is fine if you don’t like the cover, when it hits the market there is said to have more cover options.
It doesn’t seem too great, but is said to be quite responsive.
This is coming soon to the US market for $300. Anyone planning on getting one?
Here are some more photos. For more, head here.
