After the long wait US people finally can grab their own HTC Desire, which has been released in other parts of the world since months. Just today this smartphone made its debut through US Cellular. HTC Desire is technically like the Nexus One and has a 3.7“ AMOLED screen. It also features a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and 5-megapixel camera with auto focus and flash.

US Cellular is offering this Android 2.1 device for $199.95 after $70 mail-in rebate with a two-year contract. Now two out of five promised Android phones from this carrier have already been released, while the Samsung Galaxy S will come in October, followed by two LG Android phones.

Anyone’s planning to get this phone?
