Earlier, it was reported a beta version of the Android 2.2 (Froyo) upgrade was leaked out to the public, giving early adopters a chance to try out the new version for the Motorola Droid X. However, as soon as Motorola found out of this disaster, it immediately brought its lawyers along to block the early distributed version of the upgrade.

Those who still want to enjoy the privileges of the leaked ROM upgrade before the official rollout, can better do it as soon as possible. Asap as in — now, Motorola’s spreading out cease and desist emails in an attempt to shut the leaked ROM down.
