Having already been released across several networks in the US, the Samsung Galaxy S has already kicked up a storm. But what if you bought your Galaxy S on one network and now want to transfer to another? Samsung have no problem with that- in fact, they’ve even given you the codes themselves, in the smartphone’s files. Switching carriers has never been so easy.
xda-developers are the ones responsible for creating the codes and have even produced a comprehensive guide on how to use them. You can even relock your Galaxy S if you need to return it to your carrier, due to the phone not needing to be rooted.
Be careful as anything you change on your phone may leave you with a dead phone, but so far, the reviews of unlocking the Android-powered Galaxy S with these codes have proved effective.
