The Cruz Reader, with a shipping date of September 8 and the Cruz Tablet, with a shipping date of September 27, are now available for pre-order.
The Cruz Reader ($199):
On the outside, Cruz have promised you a “Crystal clear 4:3, 800×600 full color touch screen display – ideal for viewing ebooks and magazines, web pages, and movies” from its 7 inch Cruz Reader. From the Google Android 2.0-operated Reader, you can expect built-in Wi-Fi with a full web browser, built-in dictionary, calendar, alarm clock, games, and other apps. Internal memory consists of 256MB, but there is also an SD slot if you wish to upgrade this and a 2GB SD card will be thrown in just for you. The battery life is pretty good- over 10 of hours use and 24 hours on standby. There is even a built-in tilt accelerometer and you have admission to over 2 Million ebooks.

The Cruz Tablet ($299):
Cruz’s “tablet PC that’s packed with features but easy on the wallet” gives you a 7 inch capacitive touch screen with “Crystal clear 16:9, 800×480 full color touch screen display – ultra responsive and great for video!” Also Android-powered, Cruz promise you 4GB of internal memory, as well as throwing in an 8GB SD card for you!
Features are similar to that of the Cruz Reader along with built-in Wi-Fi, built-in dictionary, alarm clock etc. The Cruz Tablet also has speakers on board.
