Does Justin Timberlake secretly love Android?

American pop musician and actor Justin Timberlake is known for being a BlackBerry user, but when he tweeted this on Twitter for Android, he caught the attention of many Android geeks and Justin Timberlake fans alike.

His tweet sparked an investigation and the results have come through. Result: Celebrity BlackBerry Sightings have got it all wrong. What Justin Timberlake is holding in the photo above is not a BlackBerry, but actually and Android-powered Sony Xperia X10. Oh yes, you heard it, and now you can see it for yourself:

However, the enquiry is not yet over! Twitter for Android is only available for Android 2.1+ but the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 currently runs on 1.6. Something is amiss here. Perhaps Justin is getting exclusive service from Sony?

Note: Justin’s tweet did not come from the Sony Ericsson X10’s Timescape app, otherwise it would have been tagged as coming from the “Sony Ericsson X10″.
