It’s been reported that Google Ventures has made an $3.5 million investment in succesful iPhone/iPad game developer ngmoco, who currently holds some very popular games under its name, including We Farm, which is currently the second most popular game on the iPad. What is Android’s share of the story?

The investment doesn’t necessarily have something to do with the Android as Google has repeatedly made clear that Google Ventures is totally separated from itself, though it latest investments in Jambool, Slide and Znyga does really make it suspicious that it’s pushing for a way through getting Apple’s popular game developer Ngmoco to be on Android’s side.

Telling from all these reports, we can now pretty start assuming this all is an attempt by Google to persuade Ngmoco’s presence and port their apps over from the iPhone to Android mobile platforms. To me, it wouldn’t even be a shock to see We Farm one day in the Android Market in the near future.

What do you think?
