HTC Desire users have to wait a bit longer on their Android 2.2 update process, according to the Twitter account of a PR spokesman for Orange. To be specific - Android 2.2 will be live to download on Desire units in about 4 weeks, probably at the end of August.

At least, for Orange customers there’s a more expected definite date, while its network rivals, who’ll be bringing the update in a similar timeframe, always came up with ’several’ weeks.
