Motorola has launched the MING line of devices in China, along with three new Android powered phones: Motorola MT801, Motorola XT806, and Motorola A1680. Those smartphones are designed especially for China, featuring an Android touchscreen and the typical MING transparent flip cover. More »

When I first saw this commercial I was both shocked and disappointed with Verizon. It had appeared that they were taking upon the image of Abu Ghraib torture, and making fun of it by using someone dressed similar to that promoting the DROID X. This was a terrible scandal involving the United States years ago, and it is not to be taken lightly. But I am happy to say that Verizon has now announced that the ad was not produced by or in any way affiliated with them! More »


Recently, it was announced that the TouchPro2, Cliq, Cliq XT and MyTouch 1.2 will no longer be sold by T-Mobile after October 4th. This is another disappointing announcement after various delays of the promised Android 2.1 update on Cliq phones. Let’s just hope the phones on T-Mobile’s leaked roadmap will have a better future. After the long wait US people finally can grab their own HTC Desire, which has been released in other parts of the world since months. Just today this smartphone made its debut through US Cellular. HTC Desire is technically like the Nexus One and has a 3.7“ AMOLED screen. It also features a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and 5-megapixel camera with auto focus and flash. More »


From Ziggytek: Dell Aero a mid-range Android smartphone has been introduced by Dell recently and it features a 3.5 inch touch screen with 640×360 resolution, Gorilla surface glass, 5MP camera, 2GB onboard memory expandable up to 32GB via microSD card, and runs Android 1.5 with many Dell customizations.
