If you’re a Samsung Galaxy S owner who is also accident prone, you’ll want to get in on the Samsung Road SMS app that will soon be available in the Samsung app store. The app prevents you from walking into things while texting because it uses the camera to display whatever is in front your phone as the backdrop for a texting app. It also in a way promotes texting and driving at the same time. With the nearing arrival of the HTC Desire this summer, already comes rumors of HTC Desire HD — the follow up phone to the HTC Desire. According to a few leaks HTC is currently working on the HTC Desire HD, a phone that is said to run Android 2.2 and have a 4.3-inch touch screen, an 8-megapixel camera capable of recording HD video, 4GB internal memory, as well as the increasingly popular 1GHz Snapdragon processor. An “AT&T source” has told BGR that the Dell Streak is hitting American streets on July 19th. If that date is correct, then Dell must be about ready to unleash Android 2.1 Eclair for the Streak, which is weighed down by Android 1.6. More »

From Ziggytek: Telus has long be tipped to be the Canadian carrier for the HTC Desire, but it will not be called the “Triumph.” The Desire has HSPA 850/1900 bands and interestingly, will sport a Sony Super LCD instead of AMOLED. More »
