iSuppli is notorious for its bill of materials estimates for popular gadgets. The HTC Droid Incredible, according to iSuppli, which tends to be quite liberal with its figures, has a BoM cost of $163.35. Together with $8.90 for manufacturing, the total is $172.25.

Because of Samsung AMOLED screen supply issues, Droid Incredible has been in short supply ever since launch. The screen, Snapdragon processor, and memory are all around $30 each and make up the greatest percentage of the bill. Research and development, customer support, marketing, and other expenses (which sometimes can exceed the price of the BoM) are not factored into the estimate.
