Samsung’s appropriation of its Super-AMOLED screens can be explained by the number of Galaxy S launches worldwide. Now, there might be one more reason for the shortage: in September, the Korean electronics mega corporation is supposedly going to release a BlackBerry challenger with FroYo, a full QWERTY keypad, 3-inch Super-AMOLED display, and the same Hummingbird CPU found in the bigger Galaxy.

If today’s leak turns out to be correct, then the Q will have camera upgrades over the Galaxy S, incorporating a front-facing webcam. The resolution is true 480p (720×480), which is dense for a 3-inch screen. I bet that many BlackBerry users would buy it.

- 3″ Super-AMOLED screen
- 1 GHz Hummingbird CPU
- 16GB ROM
- 8-Megapixel Camera with LED flashlight, 1.3-Megapixel Front-Facing Webcam
- Bluetooth 3.0, Wireless N, GPS.
- MicroSD, Mini-HDMI
