With VAT, Acer’s premiere Stream is listed at around $607 after conversion. The Stream is an enhancement over the excellent Liquid E and includes Bluetooth 3.0, 720p video capture (but no flashlight), 2Gb onboard memory, a customized UI, and a 3.7″ AMOLED display with the same WVGA resolution as the Liquid E.

Acer leaked the Stream in May when it was featured in a 22-minute long HD video tour. While £399.99 is costly, especially since the Stream comes with a tiny 2Gb microSD card, while other high end phones like the Xperia X10 and the Milestone/Droid include 16Gb, because of taxes, prices in the UK are generally much higher than over here in North America. For example, the Liquid at £334.99 ($508) is $80 more expensive than the Canadian version. Were the Stream to cross the Atlantic, it could be sold in the $500 (Galaxy S) range.
