T-Mobile’s Motorola Charm: Launches August 25th

Fashionably late but still on time for back to school marketing, the Motorola Charm is launching on August 25th in “Cabernet” and “Golden-Bronze” colors for T-Mobile. Pricing is still free with contract.

Although the Charm’s specifications are modest, the phone’s BlackBerry-like form should attract teenagers and new smartphone buyers who prioritize text messaging in a small and basic handheld. The Charm will ship with Android Eclair, but one would presume that Motorola/T-Mobile will eventually, late in the year, update it to FroYo.
