HTC has recently reported sales for Q2, and let me just say — it’s good being HTC right now. Despite earlier financial forecasts, sales grew 58% year-over-year to 60.5 billion New Taiwan dollars (roughly $1.9 billion) and net income grew 33% year-over-year to NT$8.6 billion (USD $268 million).

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, one of the biggest drivers to its financial growth is Google Android. This news isn’t startling. Most people associate HTC with Google Android. So much so, that Google is actually suing HTC for patent infringement.

According to WSJ, Yuanta Securities analyst Bonnie Chang expects HTC to ship 20 million phones this year, up from 12 million last year.

Not bad!
