While Samsung Moment owners recover from the shock that their smartphones are off the FroYo upgrade list, they can take solace in the possibility that Sprint has the sequel, the Samsung Intercept, on tap for a July 11th release.
“firestormcomputers” says that the Intercept is launching on the 11th with a 3.2-inch (800×480) LCD, 3.2-megapixel camera with flash, and a chunky body. Supposedly, the phone was obtained through Best Buy for $100 (immediately after he disposed of his Moment at the store’s rear dumpster). Unless the processor in the Intercept is faster than the usual 600MHz Qualcomm, $100 twice the amount that it should be.
