Droid Life is on a roll today. After the juicy bit of information about the Droid Incredible, the blog is citing one of its “most reliable sources” to report that July 13th marks the date for the Motorola Droid’s upgrade to Android 2.2 FroYo.

Should this rumor be true, then the Droid will be the first smartphone aside from the Nexus One to be graced officially with FroYo. Droid Life’s source is hopefully more credible than Kellex’s deductive reasons to believe the July 13th date.
