In a blatant demonstration of passive disregard for its valuable customers, Sprint has callously declared that its Samsung Moment and HTC Hero will never see Android 2.2 FroYo.

By way of Twitter, through which the world’s most important announcements are always made, Sprint writes that Moment and Hero owners are screwed, and that they had better get used to rooted ROMs or old Android builds because their phones are not going to be blessed by FroYo. Sprint could have softened the blow a tad by kicking us in the groins first.

Sprint, Samsung, and HTC are to blame for leaving the Hero and the Moment off the upgrade path. If this trend continues, then buyers will be forced to upgrade their smartphones annually in order to remain current with Android OS.

I don’t think they should act like this o.O""" I couldn’t understand with well (my english is fail xD UUAHUA) but it doesn’t mean one is better than the other~~ Of course~~ sometime updates are necessary… but if the company decided to not do by this way.. anyway~~ I think they will continue to sell well~~ let’s watch what is going to happen ^^

XDD wow - that really sucks. Doesn’t it mean that most people would buy less of the Hero and Moment?
weird marketing move, Sprint.
