iTag is yet another free Android app that speaks volumes to me and to people who are constantly…losing things. I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I’ve lost or almost lost phones. If I sound like you, iTag is a god-send. Simply put, iTag is a free Android app that allows you to locate your Android phone if it’s lost or stolen.

If you’ve lost your phone, you can view its exact location from the iTag site, lock keys and delete information and make it ring even if you’ve set it on silent or vibrate. (Losing your phone while it was set on silent is the worst, btw.)

For extra security measures, if someone’s really stolen your phone and inserted a new SIM card, iTag will send the new number to the police! Sure it seems like a hassle to go to the police, but that’s only half the hassle you go through without the iTag app. Losing your phone is not fun at all.
