Do you recall the iPed that stole some attention during Apple’s Chinese iPad launch? That iPed is a bottom rung slate with a 7″ touchscreen and a slow processor. The Orphan M16 has a 10.2-inch (1024×600) display, Android 2.1, and a fast 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 CPU, and it is obtainable for $290 USD.
I wish the resolution were higher, but at $290, the iPed/aPad, on paper, is difficult to fault. Orphan’s tablet can also be configured with Windows CE, but no one wants that. Pre-order yours with free shipping for the June 29th release.
- 10.2″ LCD (1024×600)
- 1GHz ARM Cortex A8
- 256MB DDR2 RAM
- 1GB NAND Flash
- Mini-USB Port Host or Slave
- Built in Stereo Speakers
- Ethernet RJ45 Port
- WiFi B/G

iPed? that’s weird in my opinion. I don’t see any difference between the iPad and iPed.

it looks okay lol
i liked how they used Oh as an example to show the video quality XD
but it seems like just the screen part of a netbook since it has like the start toolbar and etc
but must say - crazy cheap alternative though
