Straight from Google is build FRF72 of Android 2.2 for the Nexus One. Before you venture off to perform the non OTA update, ensure that you have the FRF50 build, which must be installed on an unrooted unit.

The update provides just minor bug fixes. Join the discussion at XDA Developers for installation procedures and ROM details. There are also mirrored uploads of FRF72 in case Google pulls the file from its official servers.

Download the update from Google. If you cannot trust Big Brother Google, then whom can you trust?
