To confound and frustrate fans some more, Verizon had mistakenly - just like the commercial slides leak - proclaimed that its forthcoming Motorola Droid X had a “720p display.” The unforgivable typo has been corrected, but fanboy hearts everywhere remain broken.

HTC’s 3.7″ Droid Incredible looks absolutely puny right next to the mammoth 4.3″ LCD Droid X! Verizon is widely expected to announce the Droid X, and probably the Droid 2, at its “next generation of Droid” joint press conference in New York on June 23rd. Since Google and Adobe are going to be present, perhaps they will surprise us with FroYo and Flash 10.1 demos.
