The allegedly little Aria from HTC has a much bigger screen than the 2.5-inches rumored, but it is still a small 3.2″ Android 2.1 smartphone for AT&T.
After a $100 mail-in rebate, the budget Aria is $129.99 with a mandatory smartphone 2-year plan. There is nothing exceptional about the Aria, but its smaller than average size - “4 inches long and weighing a mere 4.05″ - could fit the bill for less demanding users. At this point in the game, the Aria’s $130 price is disturbing, considering Canadians are spending $375 unlocked for the HTC Legend and $425 for the performance Acer Liquid E.
