The 1Ghz chip inside the Motorola Droid 2 may not be the Snapdragon but could be something even faster. These leaked commercial slides that could become real advertisements for Verizon indicate that the Droid X (Droid Xtreme) sports a 4.3″ 720p display!

720 DPI screen” is probably a noobie typo and means 720p pixels. If that is correct, then the Droid X’s 4.3″ display has the same pixel density (326 DPI/PPI) as the new 960×640 iPhone 4! Perhaps Apple’s Retina Display has just enjoyed the shortest reign in history, but the Droid X’s LCD could be a TN panel as opposed to the iPhone’s awesome IPS.

UPDATE: the “720p” and “720 PPI” remarks are errors. The Droid X has the same resolution as the Droid/Milestone, still the highest in Android land.
