Samsung has sent out invitations to a June 29th event that stars the Galaxy S super-smartphone with Android 2.1, Samsung’s own 1GHz processor, and a 4-inch Super-AMOLED display.

T-Mobile is the likeliest destination for the Galaxy S, which sports a custom PowerVR SGX540 graphics chip and will be the most powerful smartphone in North America. Based on T-Mobile’s recent pricing schemes, I fear the worst for the Galaxy’s MSRP.
