Eventually, every carrier in the world will have a Google Android smartphone. Metro PCS is on tap to receive a lower end QWERTY slider from Motorola that runs Eclair.

Android Guys has leaked quite a number of devices lately. Saturday’s tip is of an Android 2.1 phone with MOTOBLUR for Metro PCS. The Motorola has a 600MHz processor (likely Qualcomm), 3-megapixel camera, slide-out QWERTY keypad, a purple circle (which could be a directional pad) around the home button, and a small 3.1 to 3.2-inch screen (probably HVGA). This Moto will not be mistaken for a beauty queen, but it should do the job.
