Sprint has announced that the HTC Evo 4G is being packaged with an 8Gb microSD card in the pictured box. While 8 gigs may be insufficient for a select few buyers, most can live with it. At least Sprint has saved you $25 or whatever an 8Gb card goes for. By contrast, Verizon is giving out meager 2Gb cards (which is nearly useless) for a “limited time” with the Droid Incredible.
Android Central has provided the photographs of the oddly shaped Evo 4G box, which actually includes a big instruction manual (the environment be damned?).
Yes, weekends are notoriously slow news days.
