How do these price tags sound to you? $99 for a 7″ (800×480) C117 and $148 for the 10.1″ (1024×600) Android 1.6 Donut netbooks from CherryPal Asia. Oh, and they sort of resemble Apple’s MacBook.

Pictured at the top is the $148 C118:
- 10.1″ LCD (1024×600)
- 533MHz VIA 8505 Processor
- 256Mb DDR Ram
- 2Gb Storage
- 1.3 Megapixel Webcam
- Wireless G
- Ethernet, USB 2.0, 2 USB 1.1, Headphone Jack, Microphone, Speakers, SD/MMC Card Slot
- 2100mAH Battery (4 Hours)
- Under 2 pounds.

Both the C117 and C118 are made for developing countries, but anyone searching for an absurdly inexpensive touchscreen laptop running Android should give them a chance; however, do not expect the poky ARM9 based processors to astound.
