Formerly codenamed the “Twist,” Motorola’s square wonder is the Flipout, which has a slide-out QWERTY keypad and a 4:3 aspect ratio screen, running Android 2.1.

Droid Dog was the first to break the news regarding the squared Moto, and despite skepticism, the blog post has been validated. On June 10th (possibly), the Flipout will be available in three colors. Numerous North American CDMA and GSM carriers could be getting the Flipout, which for some strange reason has a 700MHz ARM Cortex-8 based processor powering a tiny screen at 320×240 resolution.
