As usual, the Engadget staff gets all of the spoils. Just confirmed for June availability, T-Mobile’s myTouch 3G Slide has Ziegler’s itchy fingers all over it. The new T-Mobile Android 2.1 smartphone’s HTC myTouch pedigree is palpable.

T-Mobile’s 2010 follow-up to the first ever Android smartphone, the G1/Dream, is an ordinary offering, but its 5-megapixel camera, likely low price, and Eclair 2.1 could justify an upgrade. Shop for one in black, white, or red at your T-Mobile dealer in June.
