Microsoft’s Courier concept is, in my opinion, the ultimate dual-screen tablet, but the enTourage eDGe is the only American one in production. LiSeng from China is showing a similar type of device that it calls the Vbook, sporting two 5″ screens, one of which is E-Ink and the other LCD. Although no formal price and availability have been revealed, LiSeng does demo a working prototype.
The clip suggests that LiSeng needs plenty of development before its Vbook is ready. Not only does the device seem slow, its LCD is unresponsive and likely resistive touch. Right now the Vbook is using a 624MHz Marvell CPU, so I am not shocked that it is no speed demon.
