By way of its UK blog, LG releases official specifications for the sweet LU2300 Android 2.1 smartphone that is due out in South Korea by May. All of the rumored goodies are true, including 1GHz SnapDragon and AMOLED!

The LU2300 was first profiled last week. Tell us what we really want to know, its price and North American availability! Is the LU2300 the international version of LG’s VS740 Aloha for Verizon?

- 3.5inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen
- 1GHz Snapdragon Processor
- 4 line landscape slide QWERTY keyboard
- DivX support
- Wi-Fi
- DMB Tuner
- 5 megapixel camera complete with geo-tagging

UPDATE: LG’s “official” UK blog is incorrect. The LU2300 has an LCD, not AMOLED.
