Government bureaucracies are good for something. Consider the FCC, which is a constant source of technological leaks. Samsung’s super-phone, the Galaxy S has gone through FCC testing and bears the dreaded AT&T frequency bands.


American smartphone enthusiasts just cannot catch a break. The nations most despised carrier has monopolized the iPhone since the beginning, and the greatest Android 2.1 device on the planet is pretty much certainly destined for AT&T too.
