Making the rounds today allover the internet is a supposed snapshot of Verizon’s inventory page, which lists 156,709 HTC Incredible units on order, meaning that the smartphone could be making its way to store shelves by the end of April.

These types of pictures are so simple to fake that anyone with sense should be skeptical, yet the HTC Incredible has been shown in the real world for awhile now, so its appearance on the market is not unbelievable.

The Incredible is nearly the equivalent of the hot Sprint HTC EVO 4G, minus WiMAX (of course) and with less memory and screen real estate. In all areas, the Incredible is a coveted Android 2.1 smartphone that many Verizon customers would buy quickly.
