ARCHOS is releasing an inexpensive Android tablet for the rest of us who are not disposed to spending half a grand or more for a tablet. The Home Tablet is a 7″ budget device that has a 600Mhz ARM9 CPU and even plays 720p.
The Home Tablet is a more affordable offering beside ARCHOS’ 7 Internet Tablet. ARCHOS is targeting availability before May. Because of the budget processor, performance is a bit choppy, but it certainly looks usable.

- 600MHz ARM9 CPU “Rockchip 2808″
- 2Gb Memory (8Gb model optional)
