Mozilla’s mobile port of my favorite web browser is quickly progressing. This week, the developers uploaded a few pictures of Fennec running on a Motorola Droid and a Nexus One. Programmer Mark Finkle also has a slide-show presentation about FireFox for mobile devices.

Android’s 2.1 Browser does a satisfactory job, but I would prefer a good version of FireFox instead, and I am sure that many others agree. There is still no definite month for Fennec availability, and an alpha version is probably still awhile off.
