Adobe’s MWC appearance revealed something big: only smartphones with ARM Cortex-A8 or faster processors will run Flash 10.1 properly. Also, 50Mb of free RAM is required, but all current Android devices have this covered; unfortunately, in North America, only the Nexus One and Motorola Droid have the CPU requirements, so this means that the HTC Magic (myTouch), Dream (G1), Hero, Motorola CLIQ, and other top selling Android phones will not be supported.

Steve Jobs is right after all. Flash is a resource hog. All existing Android smartphones - aside from the Nexus One, Droid, and Liquid - will never see Flash 10.1. Windows Mobile 6.5 will not get Flash either, not even the powerful HTC HD2.

Adobe is a joke. People tolerate Flash only because it is so pervasive and unavoidable, not because it is actually fast, efficient, and stable. Flash might be one of the worst blights on the internet.
