Just announced today by surging South Korean electronics manufacturer Samsung, the M100S is a high-end Android smartphone, running Eclair 2.1 and featuring an AMOLED display. In March, Koreans will be able to pick them up from SK Telecom. The Nexus One is presently the only smartphone in the world that has Eclair 2.1, so the M100S is the first non-Google branded unit to receive the latest Android build.

This is yet another stunning looker that North Americans might not get for months until after consumers in the Far East have had their fill. Anyway, the specifications are head-turning:
- 3.7″ WVGA AMOLED
- 800MHz CPU
- 5 MP Camera with 720p Recording
- DTV Chip (television antenna)
- Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack.
Let us hope that this makes it across the Pacific.
