Motorola’s imminent Devour Verizon smartphone, despite using an older Android 1.6 build, will have Adobe Flash LiteĀ®, which even the Droid still does not possess. Also, Telus has once again omitted Manitoba and Saskatchewan from another smartphone release, as the Milestone (Droid) will not be available in those two desolate provinces.
The Devour’s numbers were published yesterday, and in the excitement, I (along with many others) did not notice that Flash Lite was supported. It probably will not be long now before the Droid and other Android phones begin receiving Flash too. I cannot imagine that Motorola would leave its Droid without Flash.
In other news, Telus’ Motorola Milestone launch will skip Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
