Although an alpha release is still a ways off, Mozilla’s port of “Firefox/Fennec to Android is progressing at a good clip.”

Currently, the browser loads via emulator, and most functions (such as the keyboard) are not yet operational, but this is a first step forward. Being a loyal Firefox user, I am personally very eager to have it on my smartphone too. By the time that Fennec is proper, perhaps Flash will be incorporated into the next iteration of Android. Firefox and (fast) Flash would drive Android into a whole new level.
