Motorola Devour: Set for Verizon »


Amazon is presently offering the Motorola’s Droid for $109.99 with a new 2-year Verizon contract. At 854 x 480, the Droid has the highest resolution screen of any Android smartphone.

Unlike the high-end Nexus One, the Droid has been a big seller even though Motorola’s stocks have been sinking in Q1. With the Droid about to be sold in Canada, and Motorola’s Shop4Apps store launching in China, the cell phone innovator expects to lead all Android manufacturers in their crusade against Apple’s iPhone. Motorola’s ace in the hole might be its confirmed Google branded phone due out soon.
