Androidspin claims that “a reliable source…who works for T-Mobile” has informed Nicolas that HTC’s high-end Bravo is headed to the carrier for a possible price of $199 with a 2-year contract.
No additional information is provided, but if this is true, then T-Mobile subscribers are spoiled since they already have exclusive rights to the Nexus One with contract. I do not understand this business move if HTC is actually providing its closest Nexus One competitor to the same carrier. If T-Mobile customers have not purchased a Nexus One at $179, then why would they spend $199 for virtually the same phone?
However, HTC’s relationship with T-Mobile is exceptionally strong, so this decision, if true, might have been made long before January.
