T-Mobile G1 owners might soon be able to retire their aging smartphone. Droid Developer claims to have real pictures of HTC’s soon to be released myTouch2 or myTouch Slide.

Not terribly impressive looking, but not uglier than the G1 either, the myTouch2 has a full QWERTY keypad and a large trackpad. Droid Developer states that the specs are “confirmed”:
- ARM11 CPU
- 320×480 Display.
- 1300mAHr Battery
- microSD
- Optical trackpad with an integrated push button.
- Camera with LED flash.
- 3.5 mm Headset Jack
- Slide-out 4 row QWERTY keyboard
If the numbers are correct, then the myTouch2 is just a reworked myTouch with a keypad, which will fulfill the wishes of many Android smartphone users.
