Nexus One Desktop Dock

20,000 lucky Nexus One owners can dock their baby onto Google’s just released Nexus One Desktop Dock (genius naming).

Google’s dock is $45 and does the following:

“Clock app launches automatically, making it easy to
- Check the local time and weather
- Set and clear alarms
- Watch a slideshow of your photos
- Play music
- Dim your phone’s display for nighttime use.”

Google includes a 3.5mm to RCA cable for connecting the Nexus One’s dock to a stereo source –how generous! At $45, this thing is steep. I am betting that this is not being sold at cost like the Nexus One is.
