I was unimpressed with the supposed screen capture HTC’s Supersonic running Android 3.1 on T-Mobile’s network, but these newly released photographs of the actual device have me agog. Some Polish bloke has published a better shot of the Bravo as well, this time with the phone turned on.

Both phones should be awesome. The Bravo is basically a Nexus One, while the Supersonic is HTC’s Android 2.1 version of the HD2 and is the company’s first 4G smarphone that is rumored to run on Sprint’s WiMax service available later this year.

The HD2 is a beast and has the following specs:
- 4.3″ 480 X 800 WVGA LCD
- 1GHz Snapdragon CPU
- 512 Mb ROM, 448 Mb RAM
- 5 MP Camera with Auto focus, Dual LED flashlight
The Supersonic is rumored to have an AMOLED screen in lieu of the HD2’s LCD.

While the phones might be real the description has me confused.
Supersonic “HD2 US version” running Android 2.1 or 3.1 on T-Mobile /sprint’s wimax 4g network?
